Gavin Morey
Gavin Morey graduated in 2000 as a sports therapist and personal trainer. Gavin followed this with a year in Australia and the Solomon Islands to study human anatomy then returned to run his own business for personal training and massage, whilst working part time for the Military Reserves. In 2005, he gained invaluable experience working in various hospitals, medical clinics and physiotherapy centres in Australia and New Zealand. After working for a further year as a sports therapist, personal trainer and massage therapist in The award-winning 5* Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa, Gavin left to work for his own company in 2007 and is a personal trainer, health and fitness consultant.
In 2009 Gavin wrote a highly acclaimed set of training books that were featured in GQ magazine, in both the UK and the US. Gavin and his wife deliberately gained weight through eating poorly and not training for a period of many months. They then started a training programme that focused on their diet and exercise to lose the weight. Based upon personal experience and expertise and featuring 'real' photos without any photoshop effects, these books charted the diet, personal training and general health programmes that Gavin and his wife underwent to go from couch potato to lean, toned individuals.
